Joshua has spent nearly his whole career in Compliance, Risk Management and Financial Crime Prevention. In the last two years he has gained hands-on experience building banks from the ground up and assisting Fintechs in entering new markets. Throughout that period he has consistently partnered with commercial strategy to ensure not only business success but also that compliance drives the business forward. Josh helped build and successfully launch a challenger bank in October 2019. Since November 2019, Josh has led financial crime prevention for N26's UK market while also taking on wider duties across the organisation to support its global expansion. Joshua has an exceptionally strong performance record, having carried out 'head of' responsibilities for more than five years, including temporarily holding SMF16 and SMF17. Josh has worked at financial services firms founded over 200 years ago, where the culture was dedicated to first-class customer service. More recently, Josh moved into the Fintech space to share his hard-won expertise with those seeking to do things differently.
